WGE Episode 57 - Raw Part 1

Описание: Steven and TC welcome you live to another explosive edition of WGE Monday Night Raw. This is the final stop for Raw before WGE Smashing Point 2, and it looks to be a colossal CPV.

On the last Raw, Randy Orton proved that he deserves another shot at Edge and the WGE Championship by defeating 4 opponents in a gauntlet match. In doing so, he earned himself a shot at the title. Edge then came out and made a huge announcement that Edge VS Randy Orton for the WGE Championship at Smashing Point 2 will take place inside a 15 foot high steel cage! Who will be able to escape with the WGE Championship?

One superstar is proving to be a thorn in the side of Cody Rhodes, and that is Evan O'Shea. On the Raw after Smackdown Rawfare 2, Cody Rhodes attacked Evan Bourne, and Evan O'Shea, who is his rival in another league, came to Bourne's rescue, chasing off the Undashing superstar, Cody Rhodes. On the last Raw, we saw one of the craziest maneuvers attempted thus far in WGE. After he was told by Teddy Long that he would face Rhodes at Smashing Point 2, O'Shea dived off the ramp on the stage onto Cody Rhodes on the floor below. Both men are still hurting, but they both have a match tonight.

Sheamus has been trying to get a rematch for the Intercontinental title ever since he lost it at Smackdown Rawfare 2. He has asked Teddy Long multiple times, yet every single time Long has declined, due to Sheamus' actions at the CPV. Who will be Kofi Kingston's challenger at the CPV? Will Sheamus ever get a rematch?

Last Raw it was announced that the World Tag Team Champions Awesome Perfection would defend their titles for the first time at Smashing Point 2 against The Unorthodox Flyers. This will prove to be an interesting match, with The Miz and John Morrison knowing each other so well due to their former tag team. Will The Miz and Dolph Ziggler walk out still the champions? Or will Rob Van Dam and John Morrison finally prove that they are a tag team to be taken seriously?

One superstar is trying to wreck havoc on Raw...and failing to do so. Kurt Angle betrayed Team Raw at Smackdown Rawfare 2, and has been trying to cause chaos ever since to get a transfer from Raw to Smackdown, only to get his teeth kicked down his throat every time. Last week he interrupted a great match between The Rock and the man he betrayed, Shawn Michaels. However, it ended badly for Angle, as he received a Superkick, Rock Bottom and The People's Elbow for his efforts. Once again he is put in a handicap match, but this time it's even worse, with Angle going up against Big Show, The Rock and Shawn Michaels. Will Angle be able to survive the overwhelming odds? Or will it be nothing more than a massacre like last time?
