Описание: The 2025 USTA National Championships were held in Orlando, Florida from November 7th to 9th. Champions from 17 regions across the country competed in the 40+ mixed doubles championships for the 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0 pairs. The New Wave (my team) 7.0 team was drawn against four strong teams: Middle States, Florida, Texas, and Southern. We won two of our four matches (3-0, 3-0) and lost two (1-2, 1-2), advancing to the quarterfinals. Although we didn't make the top four to reach the semifinals, with 558 teams and over 8,500 players participating in the 7.0 pairs competition, winning our region and ultimately reaching the national quarterfinals is a truly remarkable achievement for everyone in our tennis careers. The three-day trip was tiring but incredibly rewarding. Every teammate participated and won at least one match, which is something to be very proud of. One teammate played exceptionally well, aggressively attacking the court and consistently dominating from the net and baseline, ultimately securing the victory. However, he suffered severe dehydration and leg cramps after the match, so we had to call 911 for an ambulance to take him to the ER for an IV drip. Fortunately, it was a close call, and he was discharged safely a few hours later.
