The key idea here is that we can elicit sense from seemingly chaotic systems. That what is from the outset quite abstract can instead be reasoned with. The idea of understanding latent dynamics of complex systems is at the forefront of scientific discussions and by bringing this to the UCL community with two seemingly uncorrelated examples we can beginning to understand innovative techniques to understanding the world around us (be those natural or artificial systems). Such radical ideals are away from traditional scientific reasoning and enable a discussion on the future of creative thought.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
