Percorso: da Campo Imperatore (2.138 m), tramite funivia da Fonte Cerreto, si sale per la Sella di Monte Aquila (2.335m), e alla Sella di Corno Grande (2.421 m). Si percorre un semplice traverso a sx fino all'attacco del Canale del Tempio (2.450 m). Inizio a 40°, a circa metà un restringimento a 50° e salto di roccia di 3m (aggirabile). Si prosegue a 45° fino alla base dell’impegnativo tratto finale. Salita a 50/55° con due passi a 60/65°, resi più difficili da un misto di poca neve non portante e ghiaccio vetrato. Uscita a pochi metri dalla vetta Occidentale del Corno Grande (2.912 m). Discesa tramite il canale Direttissima, pendenza max 50°. Sassone (2.560m), Campo Imperatore

Route: from Campo Imperatore (2,138 m), via cable car from Fonte Cerreto, you go up to the Sella di Monte Aquila (2,335m), and to the Sella di Corno Grande (2,421 m). Follow a simple traverse to the left until you reach the start of the Canale del Tempio (2,450 m). Start at 40°, about halfway through a narrowing to 50° and a 3m rock drop (which can be circumvented). Continue at 45° to the base of the challenging final stretch. Climb at 50/55° with two passes at 60/65°, made more difficult by a mixture of little non-load-bearing snow and glassy ice. Exit a few meters from the Western summit of Corno Grande (2,912 m).
