Chinese President Xi Jinping Welcomed His Uruguayan Counterpart Yamandu Orsi in Beijing. Orsi was given a welcome ceremony inside the Great Hall of the People before they sat down for talks. Alongside the Signing of the Declaration, both side also finalised a series of Memoranda of Understanding covering Cooperation in Science and Technology, Sanitary Inspection, and the Export and Import of Meat Products.
