On day 3 of my open (zero-calorie) prolonged fast, I’m sharing why not setting an exact end time helps me avoid the “countdown cravings” that spike right before you break. We’ll cover simple sleep/breathing tactics to stay calm, plus the potential health benefits of fasting: improved metabolic flexibility, better insulin sensitivity, fat mobilisation, digestive rest and clearer thinking.
