In this Let's Play video, you will see me learn how to play Stardeus (Early Access Version). Stardeus is a Survival Spaceship Colony Sim with a Top Down View. The game graphics 2D view point is similar to Rimworld and Norlands style with a lot of Space Haven gameplay vibes. Stardeus shares game mechanics found in Space Haven, The Spatials: Galactology, IXION, Meeple Station, Spacebase DF-9, Oxygen Not Included, Mind Over Magic, Rimworld - Odyssey, Necesse, Tinkerlands, Keplerth, Beyond These Stars, Battlevoid, Sins of a Solar Empire, The Crust, The Last Starship, Star Command Galaxies, Space Colony, Industries of Titan, Factorio, Delverium, Starbound, The Survivalist, and Crashlands 2. The Main Campaign Scenario starts you off rebuilding your wrecked Space Ship with your Robots, Drone workers, and a few surviving human colonist. The Goal is to repair your ship, stabilize the cryo-stasis pods, and make the ship ready for space travel. You'll also want to have your ship combat ready with Shield Defense and Weapons. You will be able to explore the Galaxy, Region, and Sectors once you get hyperspace flight. Manage Power, Oxygen, Food, Water, and Temperature. Mine, Craft, and Build. The Research system is rather interesting and unique. You have to build storage devices to record your knowledge. Stardeus does have a steep learning curve at the start. but once you figure out how to play and what you need to do, the simulation is fantastic. This game is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it. (This VOD is from my live Twitch stream).
