The 2015 Don Carlos Humanitarian Awards Ceremony
Charles Trumbull Hayden was on of Tempe's founders and a great humanitarian. "Don Carlos," as the Spanish pioneers affectionately called him, was known across Arizona for the assistance he provided to people in need. To honor the Hayden legacy, Tempe community Council annually presents the Don Carlos Humanitarian Award, Tempe's most prestigious distinctions.
