As the Pandavas settled into their new abode - the Lac House in Varanavat, little did they know about the trap that lay within. But Vidura, always on the lookout for his nephews, discovered Duryodhana's wicked plan. He warned the Pandavas and sent a tunnel digger to aid their escape.

As soon as the tunnel was ready, Yudhishthira decided it was time to act. He instructed Bhima, "Bhima! The time has come to turn the tables on the evil Purochan. We must set the Lac House on fire and make our escape." Following the plan, Bhima held Purochan captive and ignited the house. With Kunti and his brothers, Yudhishthira fled the fiery palace through the tunnel.

However, when Duryodhana learnt of the Pandavas' miraculous escape, he was livid and immediately began to devise a new plan.
