In this video I remove the brake drums on my 2008 Smart Fortwo 451 Passion 84 BHP Turbo. I examine the brake shoes, wheel cylinders and adjusters, along with the return springs and retaining pin, spring and cups. Miraculously the wheel cylinders were not leaking, nor were the bleed nipples/screws seized, although the brake shoes are worn and will require replacement. In a later video I will replace the brake shoes and carry out a brake fluid change (bleed the brakes).
