The little tibet-like jem hidden just near Passo Stelvio: Fraele Valley!
Valle di Fraele (or Valle di Cancano) is a small valley on the northern side of Valtellina.
It hold two large man-made lakes called Diga di Cancano and Bacino San Giacomo.
There's a hairpin-rollercoaster road leading up to the two Fraele towers, once protecting the most used commercial way connecting Italy and Switzerland across the Alps.
After the towers, the road turns into a wide off-road gravel path that goes all around the two lakes.
