Painting something in the "bio-horror" category is a departure for me, but getting into the guts of it was a fun change of pace. This new model from Parabellum has lots of big, defined details that work well with big drybrushes and aggressive washes.

Here's the basic list of steps & paints used:
1) Prime: Purple/Light Gray (doesn't really matter which ones, exactly)
2) Muscles: Vallejo Velvet Red (or Citadel Flesh Tearers Red) + Water Mister
3) Bone: Drybrush Pro-Acryl Red Gray, Bone, Ivory, then White
4) Paint Shadows: Citadel Drakenhof Nightshade Shade
5) Muscle Highlights: Pro-Acryl Red (or any bright, basic red)
6) Facemask: Turbodork Molten Mantle (over glossy black)
