Jackson Ole Sapit is currently being consecrated as the head of the Anglican Church in Kenya. Ole Sapit was elected in May and takes over from outgoing Archbishop Eliud Wabukala who has served the church for over 7 years. The consecration ceremony is taking place at the All Saints Cathedral. President Uhuru Kenyatta is among dignitaries attending the consecration ceremony. Ole Sapit was until his election the Bishop for Kericho Diocese. He emerged winner among six contestants who had shown interest in serving the church at the helm. Our reporter Murimi Mwangi now joins us live from All Saints Cathedral.
