Inexpensive RC/Multirotor Prop Balancer

Описание: Prop balancer. Uses the low-friction magnetic coupling with the 1/8" steel shaft and the two ceramic magnets.
Doesn't make sense to pay for something like this. Almost any magnet can be used, 1/8" rod is easy to find (I had some on hand) and sheet metal can be bought or recycled from DVD player housings and other home electronics. This is 16ga steel, IIRC.
I used a 3.2mm prop adapter (the black insert). 3.2mm is 0.1260", 1/8" is 0.125", and even though the rod is 0.125" nominal, the actual size is 0.1246" (measured with my #harborfrieght vernier micrometer). So there"s .0014" or 1.4 thou of play if the adapters are molded accurately (I don't have pin gauges). Between plastic and steel, the coefficient of friction is minimal and this low-cost, low-effort prop balancer saved me $20.
