Cell is the ultimate creation of Dr. Gero, designed via cell recombination[2] using the genetics of the greatest fighters that the Remote Tracking Device could find on Earth. The result was a "perfect warrior", possessing numerous favorable genetic traits and special abilities from Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza and King Cold. He was one of the few Red Ribbon Androids not directly completed by Dr. Gero, instead being completed by Dr. Gero's Supercomputer in an alternate timeline. After achieving perfection, he sought to dominate the world through fear of his incredible power. He is the main antagonist of the overarching Cell Saga. Metal Sonic is one of the most iconic villains in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and is consistently stated to be Dr. Eggman’s greatest creation. Unlike earlier Badniks, Metal was Eggman’s first attempt at a Metallic imitation of Sonic that was designed specifically to: Match Sonic’s speed and beat him at his own game. He is consistently stated and shown to be Sonic’s direct equal all across Sonic history. Sonic is known for his many speed feats like flying through a nebula at 7 billion times FTL in his Super form, running through an infinite space on multiple occasions and in Sonic Generations even running through time which would require immeasurable speed. In Sonic Heroes, Metal Sonic secretly rebels against Eggman, scans the data of multiple characters, and transforms into Neo Metal Sonic, and then later Metal Overlord all in a desperate attempt to defeat Sonic and justify his existence When in this state Sonic needs the power of the chaos emeralds and a team blast with a Super Tails and Knuckles just to hurt him He gains many abilities during this encounter such as Espio’s invisibility, Shadow’s time stop and gains other abilities from Sonic’s friends later on like Silver’s ESP. bEggman removes his rebellious programming after Sonic defeats him and he consistently clashes with Sonic as his arch rival in tandem with Eggman. He often uses his attack reflecting Black Shield which paralyzes people that enter it, his healing abilities or his infinite stamina to outlast the Blue Rat. Though completed after Eggman’s defeat he copies the biodata of Eggman gaining his intellect and wages war against the resistance alone. Metal is now stronger than anyone Sonic has ever faced including, Solaris, the Time Eater and even Infinite. To put this into perspective, Solaris is an extra dimensional god that trancends the power of the Egg Wizard a robot that was powered by the Jeweled Scepter an item that itself transcends a 4th dimensional space called Maginary World. This would make Solaris a 6th dimensional being which at this point is chump change as he’s weaker than Dark Gaia who’s weaker than the Time Eater who doesn’t even compare to Infinite, someone described as the one who would pay Sonic back for every loss Eggman had ever received prior. Metal Sonic being stronger than all of this is so powerful that he overwhelms Sonic forcing him to flee and gather up all of his friends just to fight him. After using his Super form to bully Sonic and Knuckles he transforms into his Metal Overlord state once again in which he can defeat the entire resistance by himself. Team Sonic wins in the end of course but not by much as Metal Overlord is described as almost winning in this encounter. After his defeat he returns to his base state, still pushing Sonic to his limits as his greatest rival to this day constantly trying to prove his superiority. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
