HOW TO FRY SHEEPSHEAD FISH

Don't let the teeth of the Sheepshead fish intimidate you. This is the cleanest tasting cheap fish that I have ever had. I hope you enjoyed this video and find it helpful.

INGREDIENTS:
1 Sheepshead Fish (cut in steaks or any cut of your choice)
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tbsp Salt
2 tbsp Black Pepper
1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp Celery Seed
(You will also need Salt, Black Pepper and Garlic Powder to lightly sprinkle on the fish)
INSTRUCTIONS:
•Lightly sprinkle Salt, Black Pepper and Garlic Powder on both sides of the fish.
•In a sealable container add:
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tbsp Salt
2 tbsp Black Pepper
1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp Celery Seed
and mix well
•Put a few pieces of fish in the container seal and shake
•In a 5 quart pot add 2 1/2 - 3 quarts of oil, set the temperature on high. (Use a rack in the pot if you have one to keep the fish from going to the bottom of the pot to burn or stick)
•Have the temperature set to high dust off and carefully add the fish. (Use some tongs don't be like me and have your hand that close to the hot oil.)
•Let the fish fry for 10 - 12 minutes, then place on a rack to drain and cool and serve.
