Hello Everyone,
Today I’m back with a brand new train journey vlog. This time on a very unique shuttle train service that operates between Multan Cantt and Dera Ghazi Khan. The train I’m traveling on is 228DN Dera Ghazi Khan Shuttle, and my journey covers the section from Multan Cantt to Kot Addu Junction.
This route is quite special as it connects Pakistan Railways’ Mainline-1 with Mainline-2 through Shershah Junction, Muzaffargarh, and Kot Addu Junction. The journey began early at 5:30 AM when Multan Cantt Railway Station was still covered in darkness, and interestingly, there was no power van attached, with the train running on some of the oldest carriages still in service.
Despite being a short journey, it was an unforgettable experience behind the HBU-20 locomotive, transitioning from darkness into the first light of dawn. I reached Kot Addu Junction after about two and a half hours, enjoying every moment of this rare ride.
