No Snow in Washington… So We Went Skiing in Canada | Sun Peaks First Time

Описание: ❄️ No snow in Washington State… so we crossed the border to start our ski season in Canada!

It’s December 8th, and while Washington ski resorts were still waiting for snow, we were dealing with an atmospheric river, warm temperatures, and flooding rivers. So instead of waiting and hoping, we packed our skis and headed north to Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia for the first time. 🇨🇦⛷️

Sun Peaks is the second-largest ski resort in Canada after Whistler, known for its long groomed runs and beautiful alpine village. Even though the resort wasn’t fully open yet due to early-season conditions, it was more than enough for us.

We enjoyed an incredible 5-mile groomed run, explored parts of the West Bowl, and stayed right in the heart of the ski village — ski-in / ski-out, with an outdoor hot tub and pool.

Cozy village, beautiful scenery, and finally — skiing again. Sometimes you just have to chase the snow. ❄️❤️
