Kisii university students at the Kabarnet campus took to the streets today seeking intervention over the closure of the university.
The students sought the attention of Baringo Governor after the campus and two others were closed by the Commission for University Education for failing to meet the standards. In a memo sent to the institution by the vice chancellor, the Senate had made the decision to close it owing to poor enrollment which they argue cannot sustain it's operations.
