My friend and favorite Facebook gadfly Mike Swaine posted some musings about the simple joys of taking a dip in the river at the back of his place in Oregon. It inspired this homage to the '70's album rock of my teens.
Maybe it's "River Rock?"
All instruments and vocals by me, as well as the photo and video production, done with Mixcraft, Photoshop, and Vegas Pro on Windows 7.

Almost 35 years ago, I wrote a review of a music creation program that loaded from a cassette to a Sinclair ZX81 for Michael's magazine, InfoWorld. It only made primitive bleeps and bloops, but was fun to play with for the (then low) price of $25.
I don't know how many of us, even as forward-thinking tech people, could have dreamed what would have be within our reach today.
Creating an entire song, including a music video, in a few afternoons from the first chords to the final cut using nothing but my own equipment is beyond a dream come true.
