We're gonna go over here to the car, at the start of the whole collection, which is also the smallest car in the collection. Very interesting story about this car. When my dad was going to high school, he used to pass this little Bantam dealership that had about 15 or 20 Bantams on the dealership lot. Every day when he was walking home, he would stop by the dealership and the guys got to know my dad and they would let him crawl in the car and sit in the car. So he just fell in love with the Bantam. This is what really started this whole collection.

The car has never been restored. The car, as you see it, is the exact same when my dad bought it. The only thing we've done to it is put new tires on it, cleaned up the upholstery, and put new carpet in it. That's about it.

We joined the Bantam Club, and we did a lot of Banham functions, which was a lot of fun. We paced a lot of race car tracks up there in Indiana. We would go to a lot of the race tracks and we'd pace them in.

The course of the crowd would get a kick out of the small car in the lead of a bunch of race cars. So very small engine. It's only got a little four cylinder. I think it's only like a 45 cubic with about 22 horsepower. So in top speed is maybe 45, 50 miles an hour. And this was the idea for the first economy car. Very famous car.

And also another little fun fact about the car. When Walt Disney came out with Donald Duck's cartoon, he decided that he was gonna give Donald Duck a car for the cartoon. Well, this is the car that he used in the comic strip for Donald Duck. Same exact car, same color, same everything. Kind of fun.
