This third chapter of the Masterclass includes a discussion of what makes a fretless sound fretless, some vibrato and sliding harmonics, plus a playthrough of a Charlie Parker solo to demonstrate the advantages of transcription and how that has forced me to apply techniques like legato and develop 3- and 4-finger plucking hand technique.
