This video was filmed before the new measures and is shared purely to document rare aircraft movements at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport.

Mehrabad International Airport (THR / OIII) is one of Iran’s oldest and busiest airports. Once Tehran’s main international gateway, it now mainly handles domestic flights,yet it remains home to some of the rarest and most historic aircraft still operating today.

In this video, you’ll see a selection of classic and rare aircraft, including:
✈️ Mahan Air Boeing 747-400 – the only active passenger 747 in Iran
✈️ Meraj Airlines Airbus A321 – wearing a Qatar Airways-style livery

Each of these aircraft carries a story of endurance and aviation heritage, flying in a region where such scenes have nearly disappeared.
