As our time in Fiji comes to an end, we drop anchor at one final far out island before turning our attention to prepping for the sail towards New Zealand.
At first light, we slip beneath the surface and are immediately surrounded by vibrant tropical fish and crystal-clear reefs. It’s everything we’ve loved about Fiji — wild, untouched, and alive.
Back on land, we scramble across sharp volcanic rock in search of coconuts (which, turns out… are MUCH harder to find than we thought 🥥). There may or may not be a small casualty along the way.
It feels like the perfect sendoff.
Until something breaks on the boat.
With a big passage to New Zealand ahead, even the smallest problem can turn into a major concern. Is this just a minor fix… or the start of something bigger?
