In this message, Apostle Joshua Selman Nimmak explains that; God makes the men He uses through series of dealings, The Mystery of the furnace of affliction he called it.
1 Peter 4:12
The process by which God builds His champions and generals requires pain, discipline, rejections, criticisms, pruning and alignment.
The men God used in Bible times all went through this process; Job, Paul, Moses, Joseph. Whiles God does not intentionally brings evil upon the lives of His people, however, according to his wisdom he takes advantage of the situations in our lives to prune and bring us to a place of stature, strength, relevance and usefulness in the spirit.
This kind of affliction can not be cast away in prayer, rather you obtain grace to go through it and finish it well. (Isaiah 43:1-3)
When going through the furnace of affliction, it is important to understand the following:

1. Afflictions and trials are not necessarily signs of lack of faith. It is however an answer to the prayer you prayed to be used by God. And because it is a customised dealing, nobody can assist you to bear the burden or go through it for you.

2. Your tears and expressions of pain do not necessarily reflect unbelieve. These are seasons in the live of the believer when it is okay to cry. A time will come when everything you're afraid of will happen to you and that becomes the starting point of a life of unusual courage. it builds immunity to the worries of life and nothing else matters but His Majesty.
These seasons come with strange prophetic instructions. In that season you won't have words but your silence speaks even the loudest.

3.Things may seem not be working but you must know you're making serious progress in the spirit. The prove that what you're going through is a furnace of affliction is that no matter what comes, it doesn't kill you.

4. The furnace of affliction is not forever and it will certainly come to an end but at a time you do not expect. You will encounter an anointing in that place of your pain and you will step into a grace you will never recover from.
