Call Sinbad what he was: A Villain

Описание: In this video I'll go into detail about how I think Sinbad's progression from a hero shifted into the last arc's final boss/villain and how that came to be. This is why people should stop denying that was his role by the end of Magi the Labyrinth of Magic or saying it was out of left field when it was very much predicted throughout both Magi and even the prequel series how Sinbad's values would change. It also addresses the mistakes he's made which once again, does not make him a bad person, but it does foreshadow the sacrifices he would be willing to make for his goal and shows us why those decisions were wrong and deemed him unworthy of being God over the Magi universe like he wanted.

This is not a Sinbad hate video because I do like his character and think he is extremely interesting and very well developed, but that doesn't make him immune to criticism or understanding that heroic characters can follow the wrong path chasing what they believe is right to ultimately realize that they were wrong and partook in actions that were selfish and harmed others. In my eyes it's simply educating the people who put him up on a high pedestal and pretend like he did nothing wrong or minimized what he did when he literally wanted to eliminate the world and make a new one where he was God Conqueror Supreme Overlord where free will is fine but only if it's Sinbad-Approved.

I recognize many Magi characters do invasive and terrible things to achieve their world peace, but this is not a video about them, nor did anyone necessarily defend their actions in a way I thought was a bit off the mark like I thought they did for Sinbad. This is just an example and I'm not trying to target Sinbad in particular but since I didn't go into detail about his motives and progression in my previous video's about Magi and his prequel series, I thought I'd cover it here. Sorry, I'm babbling.
