The design honors the original house, preserving its load-bearing structure while introducing thoughtful interventions that enhance light, openness, and ventilation. Carefully placed openings and courtyards create a natural flow of air and daylight, transforming the once inward-facing home into a space that feels bright, connected, and serene.

Traditional Indian architectural elements like jaali screens, exposed materials, and intimate courtyards have been reinterpreted to serve both aesthetic and climatic functions. These features encourage cross-ventilation, optimize daylight, and create moments of pause and reflection. Rather than a radical overhaul, the renovation is a gentle transformation, allowing the essence of the original home to remain intact.
