HUGE Vegetable Garden Todo List - Quick, It’s Nearly Spring!

Описание: Whilst sat having a lovely relaxing coffee on the sofa, snuggled up with my dog Dexter, it suddenly occurred to me that next Sunday is the last Sunday in February. I won’t say I panicked, but I realised I have so much to do before the garden awakens in spring.

If you’re a serial procrastinator like me, my video will help you organise yourself and your allotment or kitchen garden, as I run through some of the jobs that we need to get done now, before the all of our dormant trees and bushes wake up to a new season.

We also need to start looking to what we’re going to do with our green manures on our beds, as it’s becoming essential to have our beds prepped for growing, especially if you are planning early direct sowings. Even more important if you have an early last frost date. I’m in hardiness zone 8a/b here in the central belt of the UK. My last frost date is May 10th. (Although we had a frost on May 15th last year!)

It’s also time to check in on plants in the greenhouse or under grow lights to see what needs pricking out and potting on. It’s going to get VERY busy in March and April, so I’m keen to stay on top of things now, before chaos ensues.
