As the landscape changed, the road led me deep into the heart of Rahim Yar Khan’s Cholistan Desert, one of the most beautiful and mysterious deserts of Pakistan.
This desert is not just about sand and silence. In this region, an Abu Dhabi prince has built a private airport and a protected wildlife-style forest, where royal hunting trips take place. The contrast between untouched desert beauty and elite desert life is truly fascinating.
Cholistan is also special because India’s border lies close to this area, adding historical and geographical importance to the journey. Endless dunes, calm desert winds, and raw natural beauty make this place unforgettable.
