Hello guys, and welcome back to Car Obsession. Remember the old BMW M135i? It was a bit of a rarity - a hot hatch that was able to squeeze in 6 cylinders under its bonnet, with power being sent to the rear wheels. That was then, and this is now - the new 2025 BMW M135 is different.

The new car has not only two cylinders and decreased its displacement as well as adding all wheel drive. The 3.0 litre straight-sex has been consigned to the pages of history and in its place is a bi-turbo 2.0 litre four-cylinder petrol, which offers 300hp along with 400Nm of torque.

That power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed Steptronic DCT - work it quickly enough and you'll be able to crack 62mph in under 5 seconds with a top speed of a very Germanic 155mph.

At the time of filming it has a starting price of £45,525, which is a little cheaper than the VW Golf R, about £3,000 less than the Audi S3 and more than £4,000 less compared to the Mercedes A35 AMG.

Standard features include LED lights, 18” alloys (car filmed has the optional 19”s, tinted rear windows, alcantara upholstery, HarmanKardon sound system, heated front seats, climate control, adaptive suspension, parking assistant, M Sport brakes, M Sport spoiler, 10.7” infotainment screen and 10.25” driver display to name a few.
