The gear I use:
The most important part is the phone. It's a Samsung Galaxy S9+. Other Android phones are able to shoot in "manual" mode, meaning you can adjust the settings like I do in the vid. Not all do. iPhones do not have this capability. I hear there's an app you can download that provides that functionality.

I use a mannequin and a heavy picture hanger nailed into the wall behind it. The photo backdrop is light gray fabric, not white. I use two large ring lights. Those big soft boxes you can get as a pair will work just fine as well.

I do not have affiliate links for this stuff. Check craigslist and offerup for a cheap mannequin, if you buy new they are expensive. The phones you can get for around $200 used.
