Digital Combat Simulator World (DCS World) is a free-to-play, highly realistic military flight and combat simulator developed by Eagle Dynamics. It features detailed, study-level simulations of modern and historical aircraft, helicopters, tanks, ships, and ground vehicles, complete with accurate flight models, avionics, weapons systems, and sensor replication. The base game is free and includes two flyable aircraft (the Su-25T and unarmed TF-51D) along with large maps like the Caucasus and Mariana Islands, while dozens of additional high-fidelity aircraft and maps are available as paid modules. DCS World also offers a powerful mission editor, dynamic campaigns, and extensive multiplayer support for everything from cooperative missions to large-scale player-versus-player battles.
