NH-57 Khurda-Bolangir, Odisha

Описание: This is National Highway No. 57 between Khurda and Bolangir, one of the main connecting roads to western Odisha. Widening and expansion of this road is going on. This is the condition of road in November-2019. This is near SUNAKHALA. Road condition has deteriorated considerably. Increase in vehicular traffic filled with two-wheelers, cars, trucks, buses, sidewalks pedestrians has over the period has added to the woes. This has caused more pressure on the already ongoing construction work of the road. People find it difficult to travel on this road and specially travel to the state capital. They find other ways for commuting. Thanks to the Railways that many people also avoid this road. The failure and inadequate maintenance of this roads play an important role in deteriorating the road, sacrificing the past investments.
