Saint Pius X (1835–1914) was a humble parish priest from Italy who became Pope and led the Church with courage and love. 🙏👑
As pope, he is best known for encouraging everyone — even children — to receive Holy Communion often, and for lowering the age for First Communion so that kids could meet Jesus in the Eucharist earlier. 🕊️ He also promoted sacred music and reminded the Church to stay faithful to Christ.
His motto was: “To renew all things in Christ.”
