🎬 ABOUT THE POWER OF THE WHISTLER 🎬

Following his escape from the mental institution where he's been serving a sentence for murder, an accident leaves William Everest (Richard Dix) with amnesia and unable to remember anything about his criminal past. Stumbling into a café where he meets fortuneteller Jean Lang (Janis Carter) and her sister, Frances (Jeff Donnell), a card reading that predicts Everest's death prompts Jean to try and save him. As the details about his homicidal past begin to emerge, Everest keeps them concealed from Jean. And while Frances pieces together clues that reveal Everest is a killer who's set into motion a plot to murder the mental institution's warden, Jean finally realizes the danger she's in and must act to save her own life.
