Gonokrom is a town on the Ghana Ivory Coast Border in the Dormaa Central Municipal in the Bono Region of Ghana.

The Gonokrom town border was closed as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic when we reached the town.

Gonokrom is a quiet town with most of the inhabitants being predominantly farmers.

Most of the Gonokrom inhabitants have their farmlands on the other side of the border.

Gonokrom is 13.2 kilometres and 20 minutes drive from Dormaa Ahenkro.

Gonokrom is 92.8 kilometres and 1 hour 57 minutes drive to Sunyani under ideal road conditions.

Gonokrom is 461 kilometres and 8 hour 8 minutes drive to Accra Ghana under ideal road conditions.
