One of the crown jewels of Olympic National Park, Ruby Beach is famous for the reddish sand that occasionally gathers, and large rock islands know as sea stacks. The beach is called Ruby Beach because of the ruby-like crystals in the beach sand.
Ruby Beach is the northernmost of the southern beaches in the coastal section of Olympic National Park in the U.S. state of Washington.
