More information about the video content bellow:
1. The ancient city of Bagan (formerly Pagan), located in the Mandalay Region of Myanmar, was the capital of the Kingdom of Pagan between the 9th to 13th centuries. More than 10,000 Buddhist temples, pagodas and monasteries were constructed in the Bagan plains area of Myanmar, of which more than 2,200 temples and pagodas can still be seen today.
2. Myanmar (Burma) – is a country which has a history of more than 2.5 thousand years old. Many questions arise: why people called Myanmar– Burma, and what name came first? Official Burmese publications noted that “Myanmar” and “Yangon” in the country were ancestral names that have been renamed by the British colonial authorities, when they came to Myanmar in the late 19th century. Both names refer to the main ethnic group in the country, and in fact do not contradict each other. In 2006, the new official name (Myanmar) was adopted in the UN. However, the decision to rename the state has not been approved by the Parliament, as provided by the Constitution. The new official name is considered by the Burmese opposition and some countries of the world – is illegal. That’s why this country has two different names simultaneously.
3. In Myanmar, lives the tribe, in which all women specifically lengthen the neck at 25-30 cm. On the territory of Myanmar (and Thailand) lives the tribe of Padaung. Padaung tribe has an ancient tradition – women of this tribe wear rings on their necks. The first ring is worn by a girl at 5 years old, then the rings are added throughout life and can achieve the total weight of 9 kg.

5. Since March 27, 2006 Naypyidaw is the capital city of Myanmar. The moving of the capital of Myanmar was under astrological forecasts and faith of the country’s leadership in lucky numbers. At 11 a.m. November 11, 2005 by eleven battalions on 1100 military trucks were transported the property of the 11 ministries from Yangon to Naypyidaw.
6. Mandalay was the capital of the Burmese Empire. The city is built around the ancient palace complex, with walled and moat. Near the city of Mandalay there is the Mahamuni temple. Visitors of the temple bring golden leaves as the gift for Buddha, the layer of leaves today is more than 15cm.
7. The world's largest book stands upright, set in stone, in the grounds of the Kuthodaw pagoda (kuthodaw, "royal merit") at the foot of Mandalay Hill. This is a book of sacred Buddhist texts that has 1460 pages. Each page is a huge piece of polished marble, on which is engraved about a hundred lines of text, has a height of 1.5 m, width of 1 m and a thickness of 12.7 cm.
