After landing, we headed straight to Earl’s Court, where we booked our room and took a moment to let it sink in: we’re really here. Once the bags were down, we stepped out to explore the neighbourhood—quiet streets, classic London houses, and that unmistakable city energy that feels calm yet alive.

With no fixed plan, we kept walking… and walking… until we found ourselves at Hyde Park 🌿
The open space, the winter air, people strolling, sitting, living their everyday lives—it felt peaceful in a way only London can. Sometimes travel isn’t about ticking boxes, but about slowing down and just being present.

As night fell, we made our way toward the heart of the city. Seeing Big Ben lit up for the first time felt surreal—one of those moments you’ve seen a thousand times on screens, now right in front of you. Just a short walk away, the London Eye glowing against the night sky was the perfect end to our first day.

No filters. No expectations. Just two friends, long walks, tired feet, and the quiet happiness of starting something new.
