One thing to learn is to not take a narcissist too personally, they are almost always projecting when they accuse you of something. Understanding narcissists use of projecting and help you with that!
When narcissists engage in the defense mechanism of projection, they attribute their own negative qualities, thoughts, or behaviors onto others. They may accuse others of the very things they are guilty of, shifting blame and avoiding accountability. It's important to recognize this manipulation tactic and not internalize their projections. Trust your own instincts and perceptions, and don't let their false accusations affect your self-esteem. Remember, their projections say more about them than they do about you.
