Seasonal Alavi Bohras Recipes are delicious, special and all-time favourite. It sets a correct mood and tune with the season's mizaaj. Dry fruits are the most sought after ingredients in cool days of winter. And if it is in the centre-stage of the dish, then the excitement of galloping it with the tempting effect holds no bounds. Kaaju-Cashew nuts holds this distinction and has a special taste to cherish.
Kaaju Paak
Kaju - 250g
Sugar - 150g
Khoya- 250g
Ghee - 200g
Desiccated coconut - 50g
Elaichi powder - 2 tbsp
Method
Grind 250g of Kaaju Coarsely
Grind Sugar into fine powder
Take a deep vessel add ghee, grounded kaju, sugar, khoya, desiccated coconut & elaichi powder.
Mix well all the ingredients
Now keep the vessel on stove (low flame)
Continuously stir the mixture till 15 mins approx
The color of mixture will start to change to light brown colour. Keep stirring.
Continue to stir until the ghee leaves the side of the vessel.
Once it's done. Remove from flame and take out in flat plate. Spread it Assemble it well as shown in video.
Make cuts square or diamond shape, immediately
And serve when it is cool & set.
Store in a container & refrigerate
Allow it to come at room temperature & then serve & relish .
