In this video which is a recording from a webinar organised by NNFI-UAE branch in September 2020, Prof Namasivayam Ambalavanan, who is Professor of Neonatology at UAB women and infant center, Birmingham, Alabama US, discusses the very important and complex topic of BPD associated pulmonary hypertension. Excellent talk followed by very useful discussion, do share.
Dr. Ambalavanan is a physician-scientist who is board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal medicine. He completed medical school (1988) and a pediatric residency (1993) in India, followed by a neonatology fellowship combined with a pediatric residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1997. He has been a full Professor of Pediatrics with tenure at UAB since 2010, and is the Director of the Division of Neonatal Research, as well as the Director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program.
