In this video I show you how to build a realistic timber wagon load for my model railway cheaply and easily.
Millions of tons of timber were carried by the railways, not only for use as a building product, but also as pit props for the large coal mining industry. Here I show you how I created a timber wagon load for my 00 gauge model railway. In real life wagons were rarely running empty, and one which held coal one way would be loaded with timber the other.
