Hoodoo Creek Campground: Perfect Location in Yoho National Park

Описание: Follow us as we continue our campground series into Yoho National Park & this time we spend the morning exploring the Hoodoo Creek Campground. This site has alot of history as it used to be quite a bit larger but 20+ years ago Parks Canada decided to abandon a large portion of this campground & only maintain small section. The old remnants of the other campground section is still very much visible to this day & these trails lead you all the way to Hoodoo Creek. At the creek you will find a small bridge with a trailhead that leads you straight up the valley into the hoodoos.

The campground is open from mid June to early September, has 30 sites & contains an outhouse, fire pits, cooking shelter & food lockers.

Hoodoo Creek Campground sits on a sunny open meadow with stunning views of Mt. Hunter. Hikers can enjoy access to numerous popular hikes nearby including the historic Deer Lodge Warden Cabin, Wapta Falls, Mt Hunter Fire Lookout and the Hoodoos trail overlooking the campground.

Campsites are unserviced and best suited for tents, or motorhomes and trailers up to 50 feet. Water is unavailable.
