I sat down to watch the “Fable Gameplay Overview | Xbox Developer Direct 2026” presentation, and while there are definitely things to be excited about… there were also a few moments that raised some red flags for me.
In this video, I react to the gameplay overview and talk through what stood out — both the good and the concerning. This isn’t a hate video and it’s not me saying Fable is doomed. It’s just an honest, cautious take on what was shown, what wasn’t shown, and why I think it’s healthy for gamers to stay excited and skeptical at the same time.
We’ve all been here before with big reveals, polished presentations, and promises that don’t always line up with the final product. My goal here is to look at this with a clear head and spark a conversation, not kill the hype.
