Today 10/11/22 I was conducting a Charter to Sanibel for a disaster assessment company. While anchored waiting for the customers to finish, I witnessed an amazing site. The Sanibel Causeway was restored and access to the islands once again opened. It seems like only Utility vehicles and other major contractors are allowed, no residents at this time. However, this sprinkles a bit of positive dust on what has been the most devastating event SW Florida has ever witnessed. God bless America! God Bless SW Florida!
