In this tutorial, we demonstrate how to calculate the inertia and friction of a moving electric vehicle using the Roborun+ Utility. These system parameters are essential for setting up Feedforward control on Roboteq products. Additionally, inertia and friction values can be used to calculate PID gains with methods such as zero-pole cancellation, which will be demonstrated in a separate video.
