One of the hardest things for developers to get right is real-time functionality. It looks amazing once it works but the setup is trickier than most expect and scaling makes it even harder. In this video I show you a solution that is easier to implement infinitely scalable and runs on the edge. It’s called Durable Objects. We’ll explore different ways to build real-time apps compare why Durable Objects are the best option and then create a real-time chat app in about 10 minutes using PartyKit an open source framework built on top of Durable Objects.
