Case & Friends is weekly event at Case Study Coffee in Phoenix. Clavo & Joey T, owners of CSC also DJ and put the event on to bring the community together. This is an all ages event that bring out everyone from the local record dealers to the DJs and creatives from all over the city. It's also livestreamed on Twitch. I was invited to play and wouldn't pass up the chance to play records for like minded people plus the coffee was solid!
I brought out some great joints. Funk, Soul, Boogie, Samples, Jazz, Nigerian Funk, Hip Hop, Reggae, few Rare joints, etc. A lot to pack in a 1 hour set that ran close to 2 hours when it was all done. I had to jump through the songs a little quicker than I usually do. This is one of my favorite sets I've played this year. I hope you enjoy the mix and maybe learn a few joints that grow to be your favorite like they are mine.
