पश्चिम बंगाल के सिलीगुड़ी के सेवक से सिक्किम के Rangpo के बीच रेल लाइन का काम बहुत तेजी से किया जा रहा है यहां पर 45 किलोमीटर लंबे रेल मार्ग को बनाने का काम अंतिम चरण में है सेवक में T4 रेल सुरंग के अंदर BLT ट्रैक बिछाया जा चुका है 4 किलोमीटर लंबी रेल सुरंग के अंदर फायर फाइटिंग सिगनलिंग और टेलिकॉम के साथ-साथ ऑप्टिकल फाइबर बिछाने का काम चल रहा है न्यूज़ स्टेशन के संपादक सिद्धार्थ ने सिक्किम रेलवे प्रोजेक्ट की प्रगति को जानने का प्रयास किया

Work on the Sivok–Rangpo new broad-gauge railway line connecting West Bengal to Sikkim is progressing at a rapid pace. The 45-kilometre-long strategic rail project is now in its final stages, marking a historic step towards bringing India’s first railway connectivity to the Himalayan state of Sikkim.

At Sivok, BLT track laying has been successfully completed inside the T4 railway tunnel. In the nearly 4-kilometre-long tunnel, installation of fire-fighting systems, signalling, telecom infrastructure, and optical fibre cables is currently underway.

The project, which includes 14 tunnels and 23 bridges, is being executed by the Northeast Frontier Railway in extremely challenging terrain.

News Station Editor Siddharatha visited the site to assess the progress of the Sikkim Railway Project, which is set to significantly improve connectivity, tourism, and economic growth in the region.
